On September 24, 2025, we gathered for an inspiring final workshop in the 21NRM06 EMC-STD project (Metrology for Emerging Electromagnetic Compatibility Standards) at the RISE EMC testing facility in Borås, Sweden, with a focus on automotive and vehicle electronics applications. The day was filled with interesting discussions, practical demonstrations, and valuable knowledge sharing from the technical topics covered by the project.

➡️ Conducted Emission Method by Live Impedance Measurement by Serdar Büyük, TÜBİTAK UME, Türkiye
➡️ Efficient In situ Assessment of Radiated Emissions using Time-Domain Measurements by Jordi Solé Lloveras, EMC Barcelona, Spain
➡️ Metrological Characterisation of EMI Receivers by Martin Hudlička, CMI Czech Metrology Institute, Czechia
➡️ Multi-level Validation of Direct Sampling Time Domain Measuring Receivers by Ivan Struzhko, University of Twente, The Netherlands
With the help of marvellous autumn weather, we performed a live demonstration of on-site EMC assessment for a Photovoltaic (PV) installation with Time-Domain techniques.
A big thank you to all project partners and to all participants from stakeholders, industry, academia and NMI’s.
Findings in this project helped in-situ Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) evaluations, EMC applications for ICT and vehicle industry, EMC standardisation and calibration services for measurement equipment.
